Motor Vehicle Accident Results in Fatality
On May 28th, 2025, at approximately 6:48 a.m., members of the Pelham Police and Fire Department responded to the intersection of Mammoth Road and Nashua Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival they determined that a motorcycle and a van had collided at the intersection. The operator of the motorcycle was unresponsive. Pelham Police and Pelham Fire performed life saving measures but were unsuccessful.
The motorcycle was a 2017 Harley Davidson Dyna. The operator of the motorcycle was identified as Pantelis Patistas, age 24, of Hudson, NH and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other vehicle involved was a 2017 Chevy Express van. The operator was identified as Jake Doyle, age 22, of Londonderry, NH. He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The preliminary investigation determined that the motorcycle was driving north on Mammoth Road. The van was traveling south on Mammoth Road and was in the process of taking a left turn onto Nashua Road. Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is assisting with the investigation. Questions can be directed to Sgt. Bruce J. Vieira at bvieira@pelhampolice.com.
