The Muddy River Marathon is set for Saturday, May 3, 2025, with a start time of 6:00 a.m. The start and finish of the race will be at the Century Casino. The course will take runners through Cape Girardeau, showcasing the historic downtown and the scenic Cape La Croix Trail, providing a challenging and rewarding journey through the city.

The only planned road closure is the westbound lane of Broadway, from Houck Place to Clark Street. Drivers are asked to remain alert and watch for runners along the route.
