On April 26, 2025, at approximately 9:06 p.m., Brooklyn Park Police were requested by the Brooklyn Center Police Department to assist, along with the Minnesota State Patrol and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, in dispersing a very large car gathering from a vacant business lot in their city. The gathering involved hundreds of vehicles, with many engaging in reckless driving behavior and causing significant noise disturbances. Officers were able to successfully and safely disperse the gathering in an orderly manner.

Afterward, while patrolling in Brooklyn Park, officers located a smaller but still significant group of vehicles gathered at the park-and-ride located in the 4400 block of 95th Avenue North. These vehicles were also causing noise disturbances by revving their engines. Brooklyn Park Police, together with the Minnesota State Patrol and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, were able to quickly disperse this group without incident.

Both of these incidents required a large police presence in the area and the blocking of roads to safely and efficiently disperse the vehicles.
