On April 24, 2025, at about 8:15 p.m. officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, responded to the 900-Block of Jefferson for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived on scene and collected evidence consistent with shots being fired.

Throughout the investigation, officers observed damage to two residences and a vehicle in the area from the shots that were fired. The suspects fled the area prior to officer’s arrival and are currently outstanding.
