On 04/22/25, Brooklyn Park Police Officers responded to the 8200 block of Yates Ave for a report of damage to a vehicle caused by a gunshot.  Officers found a vehicle with damage that appeared to have come from a single gunshot.  The vehicle owner reported hearing several possible shots overnight and found the damage later in the morning.  No injuries were reported. Over the last several nights, other neighbors have reported the sound of sporadic shots in the same area.   During each of those reports, officers have not located any damage and no injuries were reported.  This incident is still under investigation.
