For Immediate Release:  March 6, 2025

This Saturday, March 8, 2025, the annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held.  The parade will begin at 1:00 pm and be held on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.  The grand marshal is ACPD Deputy Chief Bridget Pierce.

The Atlantic City Police Department will have officers, both uniformed and plain-clothes, stationed throughout the parade route on the Boardwalk for the festivities.  Underage drinking will not be tolerated and those laws will be strictly enforced.

We are encouraging our many residents and visitors on that day, as well as St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17), to use a jitney, ride share, a cab, or be a HERO and drive your friends.  Please do not drink and drive.

Traffic detours and delays will be in place between 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM to allow the paradegoers to exit the Boardwalk.  All times are approximate.  Traffic will be detoured at the below intersections (see diagram).

Atlantic Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.

Pacific Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.

Providence Avenue from Captain John O’Donnell Parkway to Pacific Avenue will be closed.
