Atlantic City St. Patrick's Day Parade Information/Traffic Detours

March 6, 2025
This Saturday, March 8, 2025, the annual Atlantic City St.
Patrick’s Day Parade will be held. The parade will begin at 1:00 pm and
be held on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
The grand marshal is ACPD Deputy Chief Bridget Pierce.
The Atlantic City Police Department will have officers, both
uniformed and plain-clothes, stationed throughout the parade route on the
Boardwalk for the festivities. Underage
drinking will not be tolerated and those laws will be strictly enforced.
We are encouraging our many residents and visitors on that
day, as well as St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17), to use a jitney, ride
share, a cab, or be a HERO and drive your friends. Please do not drink
and drive.
Traffic detours and delays will be in place between 1:30 PM
to 5:00 PM to allow the paradegoers to exit the Boardwalk. All times are approximate. Traffic will be detoured at the below
intersections (see diagram).
Atlantic Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.
Pacific Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.
Providence Avenue from Captain John O’Donnell Parkway to
Pacific Avenue will be closed.
Hartford Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue will
be closed.
