2/11/2025- Currently, the Harrisonburg Police Department is operating under its inclement weather policy. Due to hazardous road and weather conditions, HPD officers are primarily focused on responding to high-priority calls for service to ensure the safety and well-being of the community and our officers. Officers will respond promptly to life-threatening and immediate public safety concerns; however, non-emergency calls may see a delay in response time.

As always, if you have an emergency, please dial 911. Non-emergency calls should be made to 540-434-4436, and officers will respond when they are able. The safety of the Harrisonburg community, as well our officers, remains our top priority, and we will continuously monitor weather conditions to ensure a timely and appropriate response to any evolving situations.
