On January 19, 2025, at approximately 6:15 P.M., Brooklyn Park Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6500 block of 84th Court North. Upon arrival, officers located one victim who had sustained gunshot wounds and was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical care.

Officers established an exterior perimeter around the area and requested assistance from the Crystal Police Department and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office K-9 units to search for the suspects. Despite a thorough search of the area, utilizing both K-9 units and aerial support, no suspects were located and the investigation remains active.
