On 01/18/25 at 9:50 PM, officers were dispatched to the Kensington Place Apartment Complex in the 8300-block of Zane Ave N for reports of shots heard 10-15 minutes prior.  Arriving officers located a vehicle that had been struck by two bullets.  During the initial investigation, a 911 call was received from a person reporting they were with a juvenile gunshot victim two blocks away.  Officers found the victim who had a minor graze wound to their head.  They were transported to an area hospital for care.  The initial scene was located at the entrance to the apartment complex.  Evidence of the shooting was discovered and processed by Hennepin County Crime Scene Deputies.
