Dealing Methamphetamine KPD-25-0194

On January 16th, 2025 at approximately 1:05 pm detectives with the Wabash County Drug Task Force, Kokomo Police Department Drug Task Force, officers with the Kokomo Police Department’s “A” Watch Patrol, and KPD K-9 Unit arrested Larry Hellyer and Joshua Belzer in the 600 block of South Main Street.  Larry Hellyer was wanted on an active warrant out of Wabash County for three counts of Dealing Methamphetamine, four counts of Dealing a Controlled Substance, two counts of Dealing Marijuana, and one count of Unlawful Sale of a Legend Drug.  Joshua Belzer was also wanted on an active warrant out of Wabash County for four counts of Dealing Methamphetamine. 

 

            A search warrant was executed later at the residence of Larry Hellyer in the 1000 Block of East Alto by the Kokomo Police Department.  Officers located suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, controlled substances, psilocybin mushrooms, digital scales, packaging materials commonly used to distribute illegal narcotics, multiple firearms, body armor, and thousands of dollars of US currency.  Detectives were assisted in the execution of the search warrant by officers with the Kokomo Police Department’s “B” Watch and “C” Watch.
