Gila County, City of Globe and City of Miami residents. Thank you for the tips that flooded into Tip411. Thanks to the citizens that shared the Tip411 post on Facebook because it circulated through the state and helped identify a suspect that was captured in Thatcher, Arizona.  Reportedly on 01/14/25 Graham County Dispatch received several calls for service involving vehicle burglaries within the county as well as the Cities of Safford and Thatcher. A vehicle theft led multiple officers and deputies to the Quality Inn in Thatcher, subsequently leading them to make contact with two adults in a ground floor room . One Male exited the room through the window and tried to flee from police on foot. That suspect was apprehended after a short foot pursuit and identified as Michael Tate of Globe. A female adult was taken into custody while in the room and identified as Tiffani Chase of Globe. The hotel room was found to have hundreds of items of suspected stolen property to include, power tools, hand guns, batteries to power tools, a shotgun, several rifles, hunting equipment, back packs, knives, and sporting goods. Detectives from Globe PD responded to the Quality Inn to assist Detectives on scene with identifying possible items stolen from the Gila County area. The investigation is ongoing and could take weeks to process all the evidence and recovered property. Michael Tate and Tiffani Chase were arrested and booked into the Graham County Jail.
