On January 10th, 2025, at 9:50 A.M., the Pelham Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Main Street. The officers arrived and found a gray Honda Civic sedan embedded in a utility pole.

Twenty-six-year-old Nicole Lugo of Methuen, MA was identified as the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Nicole sustained serious injuries and was med flighted to a nearby hospital. Corporal Locke investigated the crash and determined the Civic left the roadway and struck the utility pole with its front end. The road was closed for over four hours as utility crews worked to replace the broken utility pole.
