Two Wounded in Shooting Incident

For Immediate Release:  November 18, 2024

 

The Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that wounded two men.

On November 16, 2024, at 8:59PM, patrol officers responded to a report of a man shot in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue.  The victim, 19, of Atlantic City, was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious injuries.  A short time later, officers were alerted that a second victim was in the 100 block of north Tennessee Avenue.  The victim, 24, of Ocean City, NJ, was transported to the medical center to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
