On 10/13/2024 at 9:33 A.M. Officers were dispatched to the convenience store located in the 7400 block of Regent Ave N regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival the victim was on scene with a stab wound to his neck. The suspect fled towards the Huntington Place Apartments located in the 5800 block of 73rd Ave N. The victim was transported to North Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his wounds. Officers were able to identify and surround the suspects apartment. The Brooklyn Park SWAT team was paged in and responded. The suspect was taken into custody as SWAT was arriving.
