On Friday, 10/04/24 at 3:00 p.m., the fire department responded to 7988 Beard Ave. for a structure fire. First-arriving units found single family townhome with a small fire on the exterior of the garage.  Auto Aid was provided by West Metro and Osseo Fire Departments, who were cancelled due to the fire brought under control quickly by units on scene.  There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The cause is under investigation by the Brooklyn Park Fire Marshal Division. The incident did not attract media attention.
