On 9/21/24 at 6:34pm officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a private residence in the 8400 block of Adair Ave N. Arriving officers immediately located the victim with serious gunshot injuries and rendered aid. The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for care. The suspect was located by officers on scene. They were detained and a firearm recovered. During the preliminary investigation, it was determined that the suspect and victim knew each other. Suspect was arrested and booked for crimes related to the shooting. Officers were assisted by Deputies from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. This incident remains under investigation.
