On September 7, 2024 shortly after 11:30pm, Brooklyn Park Officers were dispatched to a serious injury crash involving a pedestrian on Highway 252 at the intersection of Brookdale Drive North. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. The Minnesota State Patrol responded and is handling the incident. Brooklyn Park Officers assisted with traffic control. Highway 252 was shut down for approximately two hours. Alcohol was not considered a factor in the crash.
