Seven Arrested During Narcotic Investigation

The Atlantic City Police Department
arrested seven individuals for possession and distribution of narcotics.
On September 3, 2024, detectives of
the Special Investigations Section concluded an investigation into the
distribution of narcotics along the area of the 2500 and 3000 blocks of Pacific
Avenue.
During the investigation, detectives
arrested seven individuals and executed three court authorized search
warrants. Detectives recovered more than
55 grams of cocaine, 62 individual bags of heroin, prescription pills, and
paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.
The investigation was led by Detective
Christopher Dodson. The Atlantic County
Prosecutors Office and FBI Atlantic City Safe Streets Task Force assisted.
ARRESTED: Mikelle
Jones, 36, of Philadelphia, PA.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with
intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000
feet of a school zone, and money laundering.
ARRESTED: Kareem Singletary, 20, of Philadelphia, PA.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with
intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000
feet of a school zone, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: Kareem Spence, 21, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS (two counts), possession of
CDS with intent to distribute (two counts), possession of CDS paraphernalia,
money laundering, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The above three individuals were
remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
ARRESTED: Destiny Lavidu-Santana, 21, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with
intent to distribute, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within
1,000 feet of a school zone.
ARRESTED: Sani Morgan, 20, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS (two counts), possession of
CDS with intent to distribute (two counts), endangering the welfare of a child,
money laundering, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: Carol Myers, 53, of Pleasantville, NJ.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with
intent to distribute and and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: 16-year old juvenile of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS (two counts), possession of
CDS with intent to distribute (two counts), and possession of CDS
paraphernalia.
The above four individuals were
released on a summons with a future court date.
These charges are merely an accusation
and not proof of guilt. In all criminal cases, a charged defendant is
presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
