Rise in Vehicle Thefts and Thefts from Vehicles

Over the past month, the Beavercreek Police Department has seen a significant increase in thefts from vehicles and vehicle thefts between midnight and 6 a.m. Most, if not all, have been from unlocked vehicles with keys or key fobs left inside. This issue isn't just affecting Beavercreek - it's happening all over the region.

Remember the #9PMRoutine:

  • Remove valuables from your vehicles
  • Lock your vehicle doors
  • Lock the doors to your residence
  • Turn on exterior lights
  • Activate all alarms and security systems

Also, stay informed! If you want to view the locations of the most recent incidents, check out the LexisNexis Community Crime Map by clicking here.

Let's work together to keep our community safe. If you see any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities, please report them immediately. Stay vigilant, Beavercreek!
