On 07/07/24, at approximately 6:07 p.m., Brooklyn Park officers, along with Brooklyn Park Fire and North Ambulance, responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash at West Broadway and Candlewood Dr.  Responders located the pedestrian who was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene.  The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.  This incident remains under investigation by the Brooklyn Park Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office.
