On June 26, 2024, at approximately 4:00 PM, District Three officers were dispatched to 4955 Hawaiian Terrace for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The Cincinnati Fire Department performed life-saving measures and transported the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Ronald Steele, a male, 33 years of age.
A second victim from this location was transported to Mercy West Hospital by private conveyance with a gunshot wound to the leg and is in stable condition. He has been identified as Anthony Colbert, a male, 34 years of age.
The Homicide Unit with the assistance of District Three Investigative Unit and District Three officers arrested and charged Jonah Hundley, a male, 23 years of age for the Murder of Mr. Ronald Steele and the Felonious Assault of Mr. Anthony Colbert.
