MEDIA RELEASE

June 26, 2024

On April 27, 2024, at approximately 2:44 PM, District Four officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6300 block of Center Hill Avenue. Upon arrival, responding officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and transported one shooting victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in stable condition. The second victim was determined to be deceased at the scene. That victim has been identified as Leah Choma-De Jimenez, a female, 40 years of age.

                                                                             UPDATE

On June 26, 2024, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service, Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, arrested Marcus Allen, a male 26 years of age, on a murder warrant. 

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing. Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.
