Press Release Update
UPDATE:
On Sunday, February 25th,
2024, at approximately 1423 hours, Pennsauken Police Department responded to
the area of US-130 and Cove Road for a report of a three-car motor vehicle
collision. The driver, Cristina M. Iorio,
age 40 of Maple Shade, of one of the vehicles involved in the motor vehicle
crash was then transported to Cooper Hospital for her injuries. As a result of the collision, the driver succumbed
to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the Hospital. The on-scene investigation determined that
Cristina, driving a 2019 Kia Forte, was attempting to make a left turn onto
Route 130 southbound from Cove Road westbound.
The driver, David B. Telesco age 32 of Burlington, operating a 2023
U-Haul Chevy Silverado, was traveling north on Route 130 in the center approaching
Cove Road. The third driver involved,
Edward J. Dephillipo Jr age 33 of Audubon, operating a 2005 Ford F-150, was attempting
to make a left turn onto Route 130 northbound from Cove Road eastbound. As a result, the U-Haul Chevy Silverado collided
into the left side of the Kia Forte and then collided into the right front of the
Ford F-150. The collision is currently
under investigation by the Pennsauken Police Traffic Division and the Camden
County Prosecutor’s Office.
