From the Memphis Police Department,

At 10:04 a.m., officers responded to the 3700 Block of East Shelby Drive regarding a carjacking. A Blue Nissan Maxima was taken during the incident.

Through the course of the investigation, it has been determined that this scene and four other recent crime scenes possibly involve the same suspect.

3834 East Shelby Drive- 1 Male Deceased
3539 Pilot Drive Shots Fired-(No Injuries)
3575 Commerce Circle (Shooting)-1 Male Juvenile, 4 Adult Male Females (3 Non-Critical), (1 Critical) , 2 Adult Males (Non-critical)
The suspect is described as a Black Male, wearing all black clothing, a black ski mask and purple shoes.

Preliminary information indicates the suspect is believed to be occupying a white 2016 Dodge Charger bearing TN Tag BPT-4410 that was taken during a carjacking at 2765 South Perkins Road.

Detectives and officers citywide are actively investigating each of these incidents and working to locate the suspect.

This multi-jurisdiction manhunt is comprised of local, state, and federal agencies who are actively searching for this suspect.
