CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION

MEDIA RELEASE

December 24, 2023

On December 24, 2023, at approximately 2:56 AM, District Three officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2000 block of Millvale Court. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim has been identified as Evelyn Jackson, 33 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing. Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.
