TRIPOLI
ROAD BRIDGE REPAIR
Campton,
NH Oct 4, 2023 – Tripoli Road, located off I93, Exit 31, in Livermore, NH will
be closed for bridge repair work beginning on October 10th. The road will
be closed at approximately the 5-mile marker and driving, parking, and foot
traffic through the closed area will be prohibited to ensure visitor safety and
adequate working space for the contractors and their equipment. It’s
anticipated the repair work will be completed by the end of October.
The
closed construction area near the midway point of the road will be clearly
marked by traffic control devices and closed to vehicle and pedestrian
traffic. Vehicles east bound from I-93 Exit 31 will not be able to reach
Waterville Valley for the duration of the construction. During this time,
the Mt. Osceola Trail will only be accessible from the east through the town of
Waterville Valley. East Pond and Mt. Tecumseh Trailhead will remain
accessible from I-93 exit 31.
Camping
on the vast majority of Tripoli Road will remain open. The bridge repair work
is anticipated to be completed by November 10. For updated
