On 8/12/13 at approximately 11:15pm, Brooklyn Park officers were dispatched to the 8300 block of Zane Ave N regarding a shooting. Dispatched information was that an accidental shooting occurred. Officers located the victim and suspect, of which it was determined that both were known to each other and in a relationship. Both the victim and the suspect were cooperative. The victim was transported to a local hospital for a gunshot wound and the suspect was arrested. Hennepin County CSI processed the scene. A gun was recovered at the scene. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
