The Pelham Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy for Full-Time Police Officer.  Minimum qualifications for this position include: a minimum of 60 credit hours in an associate or baccalaureate educational program, or two years of full-time experience as a certified police officer at the time of appointment, or four years of active duty military experience with an honorable discharge; possess valid driver’s license; be a U.S. citizen; be in good physical condition; and possess the ability and desire to deal with the public.  Candidates will be required to complete a rigorous hiring process, to include: written exam; physical agility testing; oral board; psychological exam; polygraph exam and medical/physical exam; as well as an extensive background check.  Competitive salary range with full Town benefits.
