UPDATE-Attempt to Identify Aggravated Robbery Suspects
UPDATE- Over the past few months, Delhi Officers have continued to investigate the aggravated armed robbery of the Rapid Run Carryout from June 4, 2022. Many hours have been spent trying to identify the correct state and license plate number of the suspect vehicle. The hard work paid off! Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu with Mississippi plates. Upon further investigation, the two suspects from the robbery were positively identified. Neither suspect has any ties to the Tri-State area that we were able to find. With the assistance of the Picayune Mississippi Police Department, we were able to arrest one of the two suspects. Both suspects were indicted by the Grand Jury yesterday in Hamilton County.
Arrested: John Batiste, male 28 years old from Picayune Mississippi. Mr. Baptiste is currently incarcerated at the Pearl River County jail waiting extradition back to Ohio.
Suspect: Jeremy McCastile, male 34 years old from Picayune Mississippi. Mr. McCastile is not in custody at this time. He has several warrants for his arrest in Mississippi, along with the new incitements from Hamilton County Ohio.
