MEDIA RELEASE
August 24, 2022
On July 31, 2022, at approximately
2:55 AM, District One officers along with Cincinnati Fire Department Personnel
responded to the 1600 block of Lockhurst Lane for a reported shooting victim.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Cincinnati
Fire Department Personnel transported the victim to University of Cincinnati
Medical Center where the victim succumbed to his injuries. The victim was
identified as Aaron Zander, a male
44 years of age.
On August 24, 2022, at
approximately 4:15 PM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with
the assistance of the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit, arrested and charged Frank Bracey-Turner, 38 years of age, with Murder
for causing the death of Aaron Zander.
