Escapee Alert
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from the facility on Maloneyville Road just before 4 pm on May 22, 2022.
The suspect is identified as Phillip Doane, 29, of Knoxville. Sheriff Spangler asks anyone with information on the suspect or if you see someone who matches his description to call 911. Do not attempt to approach.
Doane is described as a white male, 5’8, with brown hair, brown eyes, and approximately 195 lbs. he is believed to be wearing all white thermals.
Doane is incarcerated for a violation of probation and aggravated domestic assault.
