Investigation Leads to Arrest of Man with Loaded Handgun

On September 30, 2021, an investigation into the illegal
possession of weapons led to the arrest of a man with a loaded handgun.
Members of the Atlantic City Task Force arrested Donald Segar
Jr at Indiana and McKinley Avenues.
Segar, who was arrested without incident, was found to have a loaded
handgun in the waistband of his pants.
The Atlantic City Task Force is comprised of law enforcement
officers from local, county and state agencies.
ARRESTED: Donald Segar
Jr., 29, of Mays Landing, NJ.
CHARGES: Unlawful
possession of a weapon, certain person not to possess a weapon, possession of
hollow-point ammunition, and possession of a large capacity magazine.
Segar was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Charges are mere accusations, and
the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
