Search Warrant Leads to 3 Arrests, Recovery of Handguns and Drugs
For Immediate Release:
September 25, 2021
On September 24, 2021, three individuals were arrested following
a search warrant that led to the recovery of guns and drugs.
Detectives of the Special Investigations Section along with
members of the Atlantic City SWAT Team executed a residential, court approved
search warrant in the 1500 block of Mediterranean Avenue. The warrant was the
culmination of a three-week investigation led by Detective Alberto Valles.
While officers
arrived to the residence, two men, Robert Caro-Green and Lenardo Caro, and a
woman, Adaliz Feliciano, were arrested as they exited the home. Upon entry inside, officers located three
juveniles sitting on a couch in the living room. A detective would later find a loaded handgun
underneath the couch. A further search
of the living room revealed almost three pounds of marijuana, paraphernalia
used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics, and an additional loaded
handgun magazine.
Additionally,
detectives located a loaded machine gun and handgun, additional loaded magazines,
ammunition, and handgun molding kits.
The two recovered handguns were determined to be ghost guns. Ghost guns are firearms that do not have a
serial number and are untraceable. They
can often be purchased online and assembled at home.
The Division of Child Protection and Permanency was notified
of the investigation.
