Lorain Police Department Narcotics Bureau Arrest

On the morning of September 17, 2021 the
Lorain Police Narcotics Unit along with the Lorain Police SWAT team, K9 Unit, and FBI executed a search warrant at 1226 West 11th Street, the
residence of Tyren Cervenak, twenty-six years old. The search warrant was the result of an
investigation by the Lorain Police Narcotics and Special Investigation Unit. Tyren Cervenak was home when the search
warrant was served and was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a parole
violation. In addition to Cervenak,
there was one adult female and seven juveniles ranging in age from fourteen to
five at the residence when the search warrant was served
During the search, detectives located a
loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun, extended magazines, two bags of suspected
narcotics with a combined weight of approximately 36 grams, a digital scale
with residue and a bullet proof vest.
Tyren Cervenak is currently on parole for an aggravated robbery
conviction in 2016 and is therefore prohibited from being around firearms.
Tyren Cervenak is being housed at the
Lorain County Jail on his parole violation.
The investigation is ongoing and federal charges are being considered.
This investigation was sparked by
information provided by citizens in the neighborhood as well as proactive
efforts of the patrol division of Lorain Police Department. The Lorain Police Narcotics Unit encourages
