On August 18, 2021, at approximately 11:05pm, Lorain Police Officers responded to the 2300 block of Apple Ave. for a male shot. Once on scene, Officers immediately began providing first-aid to the 16 year old juvenile victim. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital with life threatening injuries and later pronounced deceased. The suspect, 17 was taken into custody shortly after. This incident is an active investigation.
