On Tuesday, July 13th, 2021, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Lorain Police Officers apprehended Sebastian Fleckenstein (11-1-98, an Elyria resident) for the murder of Heriberto Laboy-Sanchez (5/14/92, a Lorain resident).  Fleckenstein was apprehended on the west side of Lorain without incident.  Det. Gray had located and recovered the suspected murder weapon (handgun) several days ago.  Mr. Fleckenstein has been transported to the Lorain County Jail, and has been charged with Murder.  This case will be presented to the Lorain County Prosecutor and additional charges may be applied.

Lorain Death

On Friday, July 2nd, at appx. 2330 hrs, Lorain Police Officers responded to the 2300 blk of Apple Ave. for an unresponsive male.  Officers arrived and located Heriberto Laboy-Sanchez (5/14/92, a Lorain resident) deceased in the street.  The death is being investigated as a homicide.  No additional details are being released at this time.
