Seeking Public's Assistance in Locating Vehicle in Hit and Run
For Immediate Release: June 15, 2021
The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in
locating a vehicle that was involved in a crash with a juvenile.
On June 14, 2021 at 5:58 pm, patrol officers responded to Richmond and Atlantic Avenues in reference
to a vehicle striking a juvenile male on a bicycle. The juvenile, 16, sustained minor injuries
and his bicycle damaged. The driver of the vehicle initially stopped and
then sped off.
The vehicle is believed to be a silver color Honda SUV of an unknown model with
damage to the front, passenger side bumper. The driver is described as a
white female in her twenties or thirties with red curly hair. The vehicle
was last seen traveling westbound on Atlantic Avenue.
The investigation is led by Officer Eric Knuttel. Anyone with information is urged to contact
