ACPD Investigating Two Weekend Shootings

May 5, 2021
The Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is
investigating two separate weekend shootings.
On April 30, 2021 at 9:39 pm, patrol officers responded to
the 1500 block of Sewell Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. They located a shooting victim, 17, of
Atlantic City.
On May 2 at 12:08 am, officers responded to the 600 block of
New York Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
They located two males, 17 and 18, both from Atlantic City with gunshot
wounds.
All three males were transported to the AtlantiCare Regional
Medical Center, City Division, with non-life threatening injuries.
