For Immediate Release:  April 7, 2021

On April 7, 2021 at 12:15 pm, patrol officers responded to the first block of south Michigan Avenue for a report of a man that jumped from the Colosseum parking garage.  Medical personnel arrived on scene and the man, 62, of Manahawkin, NJ, was pronounced deceased.  Detectives of the Criminal Investigations Section spoke with witnesses who reported seeing the man intentionally jump.
