ACPD Promotes Seven Supervisors and Elevates One to Police Officer
For Immediate Release: August 3, 2020
The Atlantic City Police Department announces seven
promotions and the elevation of one Special Law Enforcement, Class II officer
to police officer.
The officers were sworn in at the Emergency Operations Center
at the Clayton G. Graham Public Safety Building. Mayor Marty Small Sr.
administered the oath of office.
Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic, the officers were
not joined in person by their loved ones. The ceremony was live streamed
so the officer’s family and friends could be involved.
The supervisors will be assigned to commands throughout the
police department. The new officer will
be assigned to the Operations Division.
The newly promoted Deputy Chief, Bridget Pierce, will be the
highest ranking female officer in the history of the police department.
