Man Wanted in Home Invasion Surrenders
For Immediate Release:
June 23, 2020
On June 19, 2020, a suspect wanted for a home invasion surrendered
to police officers in Pennsylvania.
On June 11, 2020 at 7:02 am, patrol officers responded to the
400 block of Madison Avenue in reference to a burglary where a handgun was
discharged. Officers arrived to locate a
victim, 30-years-old from Atlantic City, who had been assaulted. The suspect, Ishaiah Brown, entered the
victim’s residence while she was sleeping and assaulted her with a handgun. After assaulting the victim, Brown fired a
gunshot into the wall. He then stole
numerous items from the residence and fled.
The victim was treated on scene by medical personnel. Detectives of the Criminal Investigations
Section identified and charged Brown on the same day.
On June 19, Brown turned himself into the Philadelphia Police
Department.
ARRESTED: Ishaiah
Brown, a 33-year-old man from Philadelphia, PA.
CHARGES: Robbery,
burglary, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession
of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Brown was held for extradition back to New Jersey.
