Burglary from Motor Vehicle
#1: Two unknown male offenders
unlawfully entered the construction site by scaling a security fence on the property.
The male offenders were further described as wearing dark colored clothing. The
offenders were seen via security footage attempting to gain entry into a
flatbed work truck. Officers on scene also located a construction trailer with
a broken window. It appears entry was made into the trailer. Taken from the
site was construction equipment with an unknown value.

#2: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s apartment by
breaking a screen on an exterior window that was left open. A television was
broken inside the apartment but it does not appear anything was taken from the apartment.

#3: Unknown male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his
person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The
offender is further described as approximately 6’00” tall, slim build and
wearing a blue shirt and a tan hat. The offender was last seen leaving the area
in a dark blue Nissan sedan with an unknown license plate. The total retail
value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $360.00 USC.

DATE/TIME: 05/05 5:25pm
#4: Two unknown offenders concealed merchandise for sale on their
persons before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The first offender
is described as female, Hispanic, approximately 40-45 years old, approximately 5’05”
tall and 120 pounds with shoulder length black hair and dark makeup. The second
offender is described as male, Black, approximately 30-40 years old,
approximately 6’04” tall and 240 pounds and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans,
and black/white gym shoes. The offenders were last seen running from the area
on foot. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $4,060.00
USC.

#5: One unknown male, White offender took merchandise for sale from
the business before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The male
is further described as White and approximately 5’10” with a slim build. The
offender was last seen leaving the area in a red Nissan Sentra. The total
retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $15.00 USC.

#6: One unknown male, Black offender concealed merchandise for sale
on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The male
is further described as Black, approximately 40-45 years old, approximately 5’11”
tall and 230 pounds and wearing an orange baseball hat and a gray jacket. The
offender was last seen running from the area on foot. The total retail value of
the stolen merchandise is under investigation at this time.
LOCATION: 1711 W Campbell St – Walgreen’s
DATE/TIME: 05/01 5:00pm – 8:15pm
#7: One unknown male, Asian offender was observed on three separate
occasions and dates concealing merchandise for sale on his person before
leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The male is further
described as approximately 5’09” tall with a small build with black hair and
wearing dark colored clothing and a face mask. The offender was last seen leaving
the area in a black Nissan Rouge with an Illinois License Plate. The total
retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $2,000.00 USC.
LOCATION: 990 W Algonquin Rd – Lowe’s
DATE/TIME: 04/25 5:41pm 05/06 11:00am
#8: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took a package belonging to the
victim from the communal mail area at the apartment complex. The value of the
package’s contents is unknown.
LOCATION: 300 block N Salem Ave
DATE/TIME: 05/07 1:15pm – 5:00pm
#9: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took a tree from the front lawn
of the victim’s property. The tree had recently been planted and was subsequently
dug up and stolen. The tree is valued at approximately $80.00 USC.
LOCATION: 1700 block E Burr Oak Dr
DATE/TIME: 05/04 6:00pm 05/51 7:00pm
#10: Several unknown teenaged offenders unlawfully damaged the glass
on six fire extinguisher cases on the property. The offenders were further
described as male, Whites and were seen by the property manager leaving the
area on bicycles. The cost to repair the damage is approximately $750.00 USC.
LOCATION: 95 W Algonquin Rd
DATE/TIME: 05/12 1:30pm
#11: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the fountain at the
square by pouring bubbles into the water. The offenders were seen via video
surveillance and are described as one female wearing a long, black jacket and
one male wearing a black shirt and black pants.

DATE/TIME: 05/09 9:30pm 05/10 9:20am
#12: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the victim’s vehicle by using
an unknown sharp object, possibly a key, to scratch the vehicle’s driver and
passenger’s side doors as well as the tailgate. The cost to repair the damage
is unknown.
LOCATION: 1600 block Portsmith Ln
DATE/TIME: 05/09 12:45am – 7:30am
#13: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the victim’s vehicle by
slashing all four tires on the vehicle and using an unknown sharp object to
scratch the exterior of the vehicle. The vehicle was parked legally overnight
in the apartment complex parking lot. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.
LOCATION: 2175 S Tonne Dr
DATE/TIME: 05/08 2:55pm
#14: Unknown male offender was observed unlawfully entering the
victim’s UNLOCKED vehicle while it was parked overnight in the driveway of the
victim’s residence. Taken from the vehicle was $10.00 USD. The incident was recorded
via surveillance camera and the offender was seen on the footage leaving the
area in a white sedan with an unknown license plate. The offender and vehicle
are believed to be related to a similar incident that took place in a
neighboring jurisdiction on the same evening.
