ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - CRIME ALERTS (15)

Theft / Retail Theft / Criminal Damage to Property / Burglary / Burglary from Motor Vehicle

#1: Four unknown male offenders unlawfully entered the business by shattering a front glass window with a landscaping brick. The male offenders were further described as black, wearing ski masks and dark colored clothing. The offenders were seen leaving the area in a silver Nissan Rogue SUV with no front license plate. The vehicle was later identified as stolen. The total value of the merchandise taken from the business is approximately $1000.00 USC.

#2: Unknown male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise The offender is further described as Black, wearing dark clothing, a hood, and carrying a backpack. The offender was last seen leaving the area on a bicycle. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $563.00 USC.

#3: Unknown female offender unlawfully took donations items left unattended outside the business. The offender is further described as White. The total retail value of the stolen donation items is unknown.

#4: Four unknown offenders unlawfully entered a secure outdoor area of the business and took a tractor stored there. Three of the offenders were male and one was female. The offenders were last seen leaving the area in a red Dodge pickup truck. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $2,600.00 USC.

#5: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took a package from the front step of the victim’s residence after the package had been delivered there. The contents of the package are valued at approximately $299.00 USC.

#6: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took the victim’s wallet after the victim misplaced the wallet at the hotel. Contained in the wallet were various identification cards and approximately $200.00 USC.

#7: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took packages belonging to the victim from the secure mail room at the complex after the packages had been delivered there and left unattended. The contents of the package are valued at approximately $365.00 USC.

DATE/TIME:  04/25 8:00am - 5:40pm

#8: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took plants from the front lawn of the victim’s property. The plants had recently been planted and were subsequently dug up and stolen. The plants are valued at approximately $100.00 USC.

#9: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully took a package from the front step of the victim’s residence after the package had been delivered there. The contents of the package are valued at approximately $60.00 USC.

#10: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the victim’s vehicle by using a pellet from a BB gun to shatter the rear driver’s side window.

#11: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the underpass and several electrical boxes by using spray paint to graffiti their surfaces. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

#13: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged a solar panel on the property with a golf ball. The cost to repair the damage is approximately $1,200.00 USC.

#14: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged a dumpster on the property by using spray paint to graffiti its surface. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

LOCATION:   17 W Algonquin Rd – Denny’s Restaurant
DATE/TIME:  04/21 9:00am

#15: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered a secure outdoor fenced in area of the business. The offenders then used an unknown object to shatter the windows on two separate vehicles and gained entry into the vehicles. Once entry was gained into the vehicles, the offender(s) were able to access the tire locks before removing all four tires from both vehicles. Taken from both vehicles were full wheel sets with a total approximate value of $5,000.00 USC.
