ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - CRIME ALERTS (10)

Theft / Robbery / Criminal Damage to Property / Burglary from Motor Vehicle

#1: One unknown male offender entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk and implied he possessed a weapon. No weapon was shown on scene. The offender is described as male, Black, approximately 25-30 years old, approximately 5’10” - 6’00” tall, approximately 180 pounds with a wide, flat nose and wearing a blue hoodie with red sleeves, a dark colored baseball cap, black baggy jogging pants with white lettering on the left pant leg, and black sandals. The total amount taken from the register was approximately $500.00 USC.

#2: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged a wall of the parking garage by using spray paint to graffiti several messages on the wall. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

#3: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully threw garbage and dog waste bags into a construction waste roll away dumpster on the owner’s property.

#4: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the victim’s vehicle by slashing the driver’s side tires of the vehicle with an unknown sharp object. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

#5: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully damaged the victim’s vehicle by using an unknown sharp object, possibly a key, to scratch the rear driver’s side door. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

#6: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s UNLOCKED vehicle while the vehicle was parked overnight in the driveway of the victim’s residence. The owner’s belongings were strewn about the vehicle but it does not appear anything was taken from the vehicle.

#7: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the rear of the business. The offender(s) cut away the padlocks on the rear of the work truck and took approximately $2,000.00 USC worth of construction equipment.

#8: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the rear of the business. The offender(s) shattered the front passenger side window of the work truck and took approximately $2,000.00 USC worth of construction equipment.

#9: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully removed lawn equipment from the rear of a landscaping truck after the truck was left unattended in the roadway while lawn work was being completed by the employees with the landscaping company. The total value of the stolen lawn equipment is approximately $900.00 USC. A possible offender was seen by a neighbor loading lawn equipment from the landscaping truck into a white 2010 Chevrolet Malibu with an Illinois license plate before leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. The offender is described as a male White, approximately 25 years old and wearing a black baseball cap and a black sweater.

#10: Unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered two of the business’s work vehicles while the vehicles were parked overnight in the rear of the business. The offender(s) shattered the front driver’s side window of two work trucks and took approximately $4,600.00 USC worth of construction equipment.
