SGT. PHILLIP WESSELER GRADUATES FROM CLEE PROGRAM
The Beavercreek
Police Department is pleased to announce Sergeant Philip Wesseler has graduated
from the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) program through the Law
Enforcement Foundation in Dublin, Ohio. Sergeant Wesseler was one of 30 candidates
who graduated from the intensive fourteen-month program on February 7, 2020
after mastering nine learning modules: vision, mission and guiding principles;
strategic planning; human resources and team facilitation; interpersonal
skills; police resource allocation and budgeting; managing and leading the
external environment; organizational risk management; ethics; and change
management. Ethical leadership is at the
core of the CLEE program, which is considered the pinnacle of law enforcement
leadership training. Over 500 graduates
in twenty-four classes have gone on to provide leadership to their agencies and
communities since the program’s inception in 1996.
Sergeant Wesseler
joined the Beavercreek Police Department in 1993 and is currently the Support
Services Administrative Sergeant, Property Room Supervisor, and CALEA
Accreditation Manager. The department congratulates Sergeant Wesseler on
attaining this high level of professional achievement and personal excellence.
