Juvenile Arrested for Robbing and Assaulting Victim

On February 13, 2020, a 911 call led to the arrest of a
juvenile after a man was robbed and assaulted.
At 5:13 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1700 block of
Arctic Avenue for a 911 report of a man being assaulted. Officers located the victim, 49-years-old
from Atlantic City, with injuries to his upper body. The victim had been assaulted and his cell
phone and wallet stolen. The victim was
transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, to be
treated for his injuries.
An investigation by Officer Justin Draper led to a suspect
living in an apartment on the same block.
The suspect, a 14-year-old male, was located in the apartment and had
fresh injuries to his hands. He was
arrested without incident.
ARRESTED: A
14-year-old male from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Robbery,
theft, and simple assault.
The male was remanded to the Harborfields Detention Facility.
