Shooting Investigation Update- Woman Wanted Since April Arrested

For Immediate Release:  September 11, 2019

 

Rashanah Camper, wanted her role in an April shooting was arrested today in Philadelphia.  An accomplice, a 16-year-old juvenile male, was previously arrested and charged in this incident. 

On April 24, 2019, a 25-year-old woman was shot in the area of Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues.  An investigation by detectives of the Violent Crimes Unit identified and charged Camper and the juvenile for their involvement in the shooting.

 

ARRESTED:  Rashanah Camper, a 25 year old woman from Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

 

ARRESTED:  A 16-year-old juvenile male from Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

The juvenile was remanded to the Harborfields Detention Facility.
