Man Charged With DWI After Crash
For Immediate Release: August 9, 2019
On August 8, 2019 a man was arrested after crashing into two parked cars and attempting to leave the scene.
At 8:22 pm, patrol officers responded to the 3300 block of Fairmount Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Officers arrived to find three cars that were involved in a crash, two of which were parked and unoccupied.
Witnesses reported the driver of the vehicle that crashed was attempting to leave the area. Officers were able to stop Johsian Cruz a short distance away. He was arrested after it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with minor injuries.
ARRESTED: Johsian Cruz, a 26- year old man from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Multiple motor vehicle summons including DWI.
Cruz was released on a summons with a future court date.
