For Immediate Release:  July 30, 2019

On July 28, 2019 at 11:59pm, patrol officers responded to the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.  Arriving officers located a gunshot victim, 17 years old from Atlantic City.  The victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment.

The investigation is being led by the Violent Crimes Unit.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit at 609-347-5788.  Information can be text to tip411 (847411).  Begin the text with ACPD.  All texts are anonymous.
