Incident Synopsis:

The Augusta Police Department is currently investigating a Robbery that occurred last evening, July 20th at or about 10:00pm on Western Avenue, in Augusta.

According the caller, an unidentified suspect entered the store, threatened the use of a weapon and demanded an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as white male, approximately 5’8”-6’00” in height, dark hoodie sweatshirt, jeans, dark shoes and white facial covering. (Image Below)

The suspect involved fled the scene before police could arrive, and has not yet been fully identified at this time. We are asking anyone with information to come forward and reach out to the Augusta Police Department.

This incident remains under investigation.
